Male-pattern baldness begins at the forehead or top of head and spreads toward the back. Also, female-pattern baldness can start at the top of the head causing hair to thin out vs a bald patch. This type of hair loss typically runs in families and can start in the 20s and worsens with age. There are other types of hair loss like alopecia areata, which is casued by an autoimmune disorder in which referral to a specialist would be provided. This is when immune defenses attack hair follicles. We can help to treat hair loss caused by fungal infections like scalp ringworm. Other causes include hormone imbalances involving excess male hormones, and nutrition issues with low amounts of iron or zinc. Stress induced hair loss can occur post surgery, recovering from a major illness, sudden weight loss or pregnancy. Prolonged mental stress and anxiety can also cause hair loss. We can evaluate your condition based on symptoms, video / photos along with your health history and provide effective medications or referrals based on the cause of the hair loss.
Most visits are between 5 to 10 minutes based on complexity. Your online visit is kept efficient so you can save time and money instead of driving and waiting for an appointment. You may receive a new prescription or refill if appropriate. We electronically submit this shortly after your visit.
There are no hidden fees for our service. We keep our costs affordable so that you can better cover any outside medically related fees that may be necessary for treatment (with or without insurance) after the visit.
Telemedicine has been around since the 1980’s and has vastly improved since then. We treat you based on your history and symptoms, physical / visual presentation and overall condition. We are able to provide a diagnosis with a high degree of accuracy and provide follow up visits by secure messaging or further visits to ensure effectiveness of your treatment.

If you have any trouble obtaining your prescription from your pharmacy after Kansas-TeleHealth.com has submitted a prescription, please contact us immediately so that we are able to choose another nearby pharmacy or lab.
If you complete a consultation with a Provider and fill a prescription through your local pharmacy, you will be responsible for picking up or otherwise obtaining the prescription product and paying the pharmacy directly for the cost of the prescription product.
Depending on the seriousness of your condition, an online Service may not be the most appropriate option. The Provider may determine that your diagnosis or treatment requires an in-person office visit with another local Provider who is not affiliated with Kansas-Telehealth.com.
