Hypertension
High blood pressure affects nearly half the adult population in the United States. Many people who have hypertension are unaware they have it. Hypertension is basically defined as a “systolic” (top number) ≥ 140 and/or a “diastolic” (bottom number) of ≥ 90. The first step is obtaining a blood pressure machine, we can help with finding affordable machines if you don’t already have one (these are available in stores or online for around $20 to $30) and can provide accurate measurements. High blood pressure raises the risk for stroke and heart disease. High blood pressure is treatable and preventable. We help by providing refills or new prescriptions if appropriate for hypertension. We highly recommend follow up visits to ensure effectiveness of these medications and if the medication needs to be adjusted. There may be underlying causes that need to be investigated further by a local provider or cardiologist for cases of more severe hypertension issues.
Most visits are between 5 to 10 minutes based on complexity. Your online visit is kept efficient so you can save time and money instead of driving and waiting for an appointment. You may receive a new prescription or refill if appropriate. We electronically submit this shortly after your visit.
There are no hidden fees for our service. We keep our costs affordable so that you can better cover any outside medically related fees that may be necessary for treatment (with or without insurance) after the visit.
Telemedicine has been around since the 1980’s and has vastly improved since then. We treat you based on your history and symptoms, physical / visual presentation and overall condition. We are able to provide a diagnosis with a high degree of accuracy and provide follow up visits by secure messaging or further visits to ensure effectiveness of your treatment.

If you have any trouble obtaining your prescription from your pharmacy after Kansas-TeleHealth.com has submitted a prescription, please contact us immediately so that we are able to choose another nearby pharmacy or lab.
If you complete a consultation with a Provider and fill a prescription through your local pharmacy, you will be responsible for picking up or otherwise obtaining the prescription product and paying the pharmacy directly for the cost of the prescription product.
Depending on the seriousness of your condition, an online Service may not be the most appropriate option. The Provider may determine that your diagnosis or treatment requires an in-person office visit with another local Provider who is not affiliated with Kansas-Telehealth.com.

However, since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, we cannot guarantee, ensure, or warrant the absolute security of any information you transmit to us. It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information.
